Note de dégustation
91 - Wine Enthusiast
2008 : « Always an attractive wine, Anthonic is in good form in 2008. It has weight as well as fruit, giving a ripe, rounded character to go with its tannins. It feels dense, although not heavy, and has a solid chunky, smoky finish. »
15/20 - Jacques Dupont Le Point
2009 : « Fruits noirs, bouche ronde, voluptueuse, bonne longueur, frais, vif, serré, belle matière, tanins de qualité. »
3 étoiles - Decanter
2010 : « Round supple cassis fruit, nice balance and lengh. »

Histoire du château
Château Anthonic is one of the oldest wine estates of Moulis (end of the 18th Century) but his current name dates only from 1922 (it was a tribute of the then owner to his father Antonic Hugon). It's also by then that the label was designed: it represents 2 eagles fighting for a grape, an allegory of the tension between the wine estate and the wine merchant for the harvest. Bought 1977 by Pierre Cordonnier, château Anthonic is under the leadership of his son Jean-Baptiste since 1993.
