Tasting Notes
16.5 Points - Jancis Robinson
Leather, olives, black cherry, quite light body but the tannins and acid match it well and the secondary flavours are very lively – cedar, leather, liquorice, and a certain black pepper crunch to finish.
90 Points - International Wine Challenge The Library Collection
Lightish aroma but clear cut. Palate has the style of the Médoc, has a softness which is classic of Médoc in a good year.

One word to describe my wine

The history of the Château
Perfectly positioned on top of an ancient riverbed in the Médoc, our former Lafite-Rothschild vineyard, Château GRIVIÈRE has consistently produced award-winning Cru Bourgeois wines. With Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) growing on gravel based soil and Merlot (60%), growing on limestone-clay based soil, our unique terroir delivers rich and complex wines with minimal intervention. With the largest underground cellar in Bordeaux, we stock 10 separate vintages, releasing the wines as they become ready to drink. Today vintages from 2008 to 2013 are being enjoyed in over 25 countries around the world.

Food pairings for my wine
