Michel Marengo

The history of the Château
The Château Hourtin-Ducasse vineyard is located in Saint-Sauveur, a village bordering Pauillac. The estate produces a Haut-Médoc, classified since 1932 as a Cru Bourgeois. In the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, two former owners, Mr. Hourtin and Mr. Ducasse, gave the wine its name. In 1976, the Marengo family bought the property and now manages the vineyard.

Food pairings for my wine
Cep mushrooms bordelaise, confit of duck with apples, rib of beef with coarse salt, navarin of lamb, cheeses…
