Maryse ROBA
Manager

My first wine memory
The enjoyment to have participated in a tasting commented by an enthusiast of wine.

One word to describe my wine
Sharpness and elegance

The history of the Château
Château Vieux Robin has been passed down through the same family for five successive generations. Maryse and Didier ROBA are at present the owners. They soon formed a quite remarkable couple putting all their complicity and complementary qualities to making a succes of Vieux Robin. The wisdom and knowledge of the older generation, Didier's unfailing hard work and all Maryse's energy combined with an exceptional terroir: this is what this exceptional family is all about... Château Vieux Robin is situated on the famous Almost ile of the Médoc on the municipality of Bégadan in about sixty kilometers from Bordeaux. The property enjoys exceptional natural conditions: a climant moderated thanks to the nearness of 2 bodies of water, in the East the Gironde and on the West the Atlantic Ocean: grounds of grave and unrefined sand on calcareous basis, traditional vines of the Médoc: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and to a lesser extent Frank Cabernet and Small Verdot.

Food pairings for my wine
Tournedos Rossini: Choose the net of very soft beef, a beautiful fresh, denervated foie gras and a beautiful truffle
