Deep, blackcurrant nose with pencil lead aromas and rich black fruits. Almost sweet on the palate, showing cigar box flavours and blackberry on the finish.
16.5 - Jancis Robinson
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot. Dark crimson, opaque core. Sweet, rich, almost meaty but with bags of fresh and ripe dark fruit. Full throttle and still in balance. Big and flavourful. Firm but rounded tannins.

The history of the Château
Formerly known as "Château de Graves de Guitignan-Brillette", Château La Garricq's vineyards stretch over approximately 3 ha. The complexity of the Moulis terroir benefits the petit verdot and the cabernet sauvignon enhancing their perfect ripening. The combination of seduction and full-bodiedness perfectly illustrates the Moulis appellation. La Garricq possesses a beautiful ruby colour, with a nose combining dark fruit and vanilla aromas. Its originality comes from the high percentage of petit verdot, allowing a great ageing potential.
