During the \u201cOne hundred year war\u201d, Arsac\u2019s Lords made an alliance with King of England. During the French Revolution, the Ch\u00e2teau will be destroyed and rebuilt with its actual winery in 1830. At the end of 19th century, Ch\u00e2teau d\u2019Arsac\u2019s vineyard is the biggest in M\u00e9doc, but the phylloxera\u2019 s crisis and the price-cutting of the wine encouraged the totally pulling-up of the vineyard by the owners, so it\u2019s why Ch\u00e2teau d\u2019 Arsac not integrated in the creation of Margaux AOC, in 1954. Since November 1995, with the owner\u2019s tenacity, Ch\u00e2teau d\u2019Arsac has recovered a part of its vineyard in Margaux AOC.
