In 1969 the vineyards were purchased by Barton & Guestier who undertook major investments in the vineyards and cellars. The efforts were crowned with success in 1979 when the wine was classified \"Cru Bourgeois\". In the same year Barton & Guestier bought the Chateau (the Chartreuse) and consolidated Ch\u00e2teau and vineyards under the name of Ch\u00e2teau Magnol. Today, in addition of being a famous wine, Ch\u00e2teau Magnol is known as the heart of Barton & Guestier: hosting the company's headquarters, a famous guesthouse and a true wineschool: the Barton & Guestier Food & Wine Academy.","premierSouvenir":"Enjoyment.
